Tres Leches Waffles



Waffles: – 3 cups Real California milk – 3 eggs – 1/2 cup Real California butter, melted – 1 tablespoon vanilla – 3 cups all-purpose flour – 3 tablespoons sugar – 2 tablespoons baking powder – Pinch of salt – Optional∶ Fresh blueberries and strawberries Tres Leches: – 1 cup Real California sweetened condensed milk – 1 cup Real California milk – 1 cup Real California heavy cream :Milk, Hispanic Dairy, Cream, Butter, Sweetened Condensed Milk, Tres Leches, Waffles, Brunch, Hispanic, Society Culinaria, Nicole Presley, Presley’s Pantry

Preheat waffle iron according to instructions on box. Lightly spray with non-stick spray.

In a bowl whisk, milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla together and set to the side.

In a separate mixing bowl whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt together.

Gently combine dry ingredients into the wet ingredients.

Pour 1 cup batter into the center of waffle maker and let it spread a bit before closing the lid.

Cook for 5 minutes or until crisp and golden brown. Carefully remove waffle with a rubber

spatula or plastic tongs.

Prepare Tres Leches:

Combine sweetened condensed milk, milk, and heavy cream together in a bowl.

Pour 1/4 cup tres leches at the bottom of the plate and then place waffle on top. Pour additional 1/4 cup tres leches mixture over waffle. Serve with fresh berries.
